Joe Flacco took full responsibility for the Ravens’ recent offensive struggles saying that it’s on him to be strong behind his line and make good throws.

It’s your job to stand in the pocket or get out of it and make a play, Flacco told reporters Wednesday (via ESPN). That’s what the league comes down to is the ability to do that when times are tough. Anybody can sit back there and do it when it’s easy, but there’s going to be a handful of situations every game where they’re getting paid too. Tampa Bay waived second-year tight end Alan Cross to make room on the 53-man roster for Martin. He’s eligible to begin practice with the team right away and is expected to be at a walk-through practice Monday night.

Martin’s suspension began in the final weekend of the 2016 season after violating the NFL’s drug policy and he was originally expected to be back for their game against the Giants on Sunday. Martin couldn’t return until this week since the Buccaneers were forced to postpone their first game against the Dolphins as a result of Hurricane Irma.
